We have so much time and so little to do. Strike that, reverse it.ROALD DAHL, Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator
Today is our 4th wedding Anniversary. It feels like yesterday that I was sailing off to marry him, let alone how fast the 11 years that Justin and I have been together has gone! What an adventure.
On the other hand put into the mix waiting for a baby to arrive and time slows right down. I feel big and slow and Justin found it rather amusing to draw smiley faces on my toenail the other day, since I can’t reach it to do anything about it. I would share a picture but feet are just yuck and you don’t need to see mine.
The bump I have realised is a multipurpose design it works as a shelf, Luca sits on it (much to his sisters internal protests), I have started resting my hands on it (like an old man with a beer belly), it catches crumbs and dust (which I often can’t see until I glance at my reflection while out and about) and as many will know it is a built in furnace (not ideal for summer nights).
We are over that holiday delusion and life is ramping up again, the schedule has come in for Justin’s first overseas trip in March and it will be here before we know it!
We are also roughly working through plans to consider renovating instead of rebuilding. If anyone has any tips or experience I would love to hear from you! I am now completely torn, renovate and keep the character, rebuild and go clean lines and modern…. Time will tell on that one!
